ACDS has been awarded an e-Governance project “Economic Development through e-Governance” by GTZ (German Technical Co-operation) and STQC (Standardisation, Testing, Quality, Certification), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India. The key objective of the project is to build the capacities of IT SMEs to improve their participation in the government bidding process for e-Governance projects under National eGovernance Plan.
ACDS has been assigned to prepare report for the “Clustered Cities Development” (CCD) project adopted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). “Clustered Cities Development” (CCD) is an analytical study intended to study three major Urban Agglomerations in National Capital Region (India), Metropolitan Dhaka, and Metropolitan Columbo. National Capital Region (NCR) with rapid industrial growth is fast becoming a role model for similar cities in the country. The report will highlight strategic support and initiatives required to further beef up the sectoral profiles towards attunement of competitive strength in a rapidly globalizing scenario.
