Cluster mapping enables us to develop a relevant set of financial and physical statistical parameters and benchmarks. Such a mapping exercise helps in creating a database of consistent performance measures such as employees, wages, units, profits, and worker & management framework which results into a systematic database on industrial clusters. Cluster mapping also facilitates empirically derived cluster linkages, understanding the pattern of cluster, evolution of clusters over time, and also helps us to develop comparative data at multiple levels of geography for further analysis.
Clusterkraft under “Clustered Cities Development” (CCD) project supported by Asian Development Bank, studied major industrial agglomerations taking place in identified metropolitan cities and prepared report for National Capital Region.
