Expansion and development is an integral part of the cluster growth process. However, since major cluster stakeholders are mostly MSMEs, their financial wherewithal is limited. Though they need to garner funds for expansion and technological upgradation, there is a limit to their equity contribution. As such the role of debt based funds cannot be underestimated. So helping out these MSME units in getting adequate credit & finance facilities becomes an important facet of the cluster development programmes.
